No body is keeping scores

I had an idea that came to me. So, I wrote the first draft.

Between the editing and formatting, I had a thought 🤔

Do my audience really need this story, or is it my consistency streak pushing just to mark attendance?

Instead of forcing a b-2-b lesson into an ordinary Wednesday, I deleted it.

Maybe the right words would come to me later. Maybe they’ll come with an actual insight, not awkwardly pressed into it.

But from this side looking in, I’ll say the interesting part of consistency isn’t always the idea you publish. But the one you had the good judgment to delete.

Un…less you’re running a pod or have influencer-level reach, nobody’s keeping score. Even the algori-dience couldn’t care less whether your streak survives.

So if today’s draft feels forced:

• Delete it.

  Not every draft needs daylight.

• Save it for later.

  Good ideas sometimes need time.

• Let it breathe.

  Come back when you’ve got something worth saying.

Life Update 🔑:

I’m officially a livestock mama.

I got myself a goat 🐐 and, rather impulsively, 50 baby chickens 🐥 that aren’t so little anymore.

So my days are spent negotiating less poop to scoop and chasing around a Diani who thinks he runs the house.

Which means...

I need more money to keep this tiny farm and household well fed. 😂
