I love that you're showing folks they don't need expensive tools to do this well - just clarity on who they're looking for and a human approach. Keep sharing this stuff, it's valuable sis.
Pain scented titles - smells of scarcity to me - I've worked with one before and their cashflow was limited but they were like a gold digger in trying to extract my expertise for nothing - never again I swore and went back to medium large clients
Wow, David! That must have been a hard experience for you. I agree with some of the mentioned titles operating with limited cash flow - met some of 'em too. It becomes important that I communicate my rate and collect my payment upfront.
Boolean is my nightmare π took me AGES to get it right haha, especially on LinkedIn..
Lol.. it was one of the tactics I mastered quickly enough in my freelance journey. But Boolean in Sales nav is another beast
I've been using Clay as of late! It's muuuch better at filtering.
Great review for Clay. I haven't tried Clay beyond YT tutorials. It's in 2026 tool stack to explore.
Thanks for being super tactical with it. Exactly what is needed!

Thank you, sis. It's just a repurposed version of the LinkedIn post.
I remembered that post and heck it works :)
Great tips here!!!
Thanks, Shann.
Made some Boolean searches + Google alert for relevant articles on Substack and LinkedIn. Works for me to comment timely. Good article, thanks.
Yes! I have Bollen + GA set-up for tracking clients competitors PR and content.for Li, and Substack I used the bookmarked search option.
Boolean search is the best way to uncover something better than Linkedin is showing you.
This is fascinating! I'll be using the Boolean technique.
Glad to hear it. Lemme know how that pans out for ya
